• Possess a High School diploma or equivalent;
• Be aged between 18 and 25 years old;
• Possess a Certificate of Proficiency in Portuguese Language (CELPE-Bras), in case of students from non-CPLP countries (Portuguese Speaking Countries Community).

• MARCA Program
MARCA is the Program for Regional Academic Mobility in Accredited Courses. It was developed and implemented by MERCOSUR's Educational Sector - SEM - as one of the initiatives geared towards prioritizing mobility between institutions in countries and improvement of academic quality through accreditation and evaluation systems. The promotion of international institutional cooperation in the area of higher education between courses whose qualities have been evaluated and approved by SEM is considered a way of providing incentives towards regional integration and an improvement in qualifying human resources to develop MERCOSUR. The program seeks to promote the exchange of students, professors, researchers, and managers from higher education institutions. Four MERCOSUR member countries participate Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay, as well as associated countries Bolivia and Chile.
The UPF Architecture and Urbanism and Civil Engineering courses take part in this Program.
